November Wreath {or welcome to the wreath a month club}

I've decided to make a wreath a month to festive up our front door. Well, I tried to do so in October. I used this wonderful wreath for inspiration. I also tried to save money and used a pluming type tube to make my wreath form. It wouldn't stay round and after two days it was the most awkward shape. It made it to the trash by day four.

Down, but not out, I renewed my conviction to make a wreath a month. So, with another beautiful wreath for inspiration I got to work. Again, trying to save money, I went for a non-traditional wreath form. I made it out of foam board from the dollar store. I used two different plates to make the circle and then cut it out with an exacto knife. Next time, I need to get a bigger plate.

This took a lot of hot glue and cause several singed fingers. Regardless, I'm a little in love. It defiantly makes me smile each time I come home.

Come party with me!

  4. Thanks so much, Venassa! It was a quicker project than I expected. But I do think it will be a couple of month before I attempt another yarn wrapped wreath!
